Several simple methods to minimize the amount of plating solution carried out

.The insulation of the hanger must be kept in good condition, that is, the insulating surface should be as smooth as possible, and the non-insulating hanger parts should be stripped regularly. If there are cracks on the insulating surface, the plating solution is easy to accumulate in the cracks and is not easy to clean. Therefore, it is not a good method to wrap the hanger with plastic cloth, so that the plating solution is easy to accumulate in the gap and cannot be cleaned. If the surface of the uninsulated part is rough, it is easy to form a dendrite-like plating layer, forming a large surface area, and a large amount of solution can also be accumulated.
.When the parts are hung, most of the surfaces should be vertical or nearly vertical, preferably without cup-shaped and concave surfaces. If it is not possible, a discharge hole should be provided as much as possible. The hanger should also be tilted as much as possible when lifting to facilitate the solution to flow down, and air can be blown if conditions permit. Blow the solution into the plating tank. In addition, it should be noted that the parts hung on the upper part should not drip onto the parts on the lower part of the hanger as much as possible.
.When the hanger is lifted from the solution, the speed should be as slow as possible, and there should be enough dripping time on the tank. In manual operation, a dripping rod can be installed on the tank, that is, the hanger can be lifted and hung on the dripping rod, and then cleaned after dripping. On the automatic line, if the lifting and conveying speeds can be adjusted, it will be easier to solve this problem.
.An inclined dripping plate that will not pollute should be installed on the edge of each tank so that the dripping liquid can return to the original tank.
.When the workpiece is taken out of the tank containing hot solution, it is best to spray it on the process tank. In this way, on the one hand, the amount of carry-out can be reduced, and at the same time, part of the evaporated water can be replenished.
